Background
Ethiopia’s population is about 110 Million, the second most populous country in Sub Saharan Africa (SSA), with nearly 30% of the Population between 15 and 29, 70% of the population under 29 and a population growth rate as high as 2.5% in 2019(1). The country achieved impressive progress in economic growth and poverty reduction with in the last one and half decade . However, there has been limited structural transformation in terms of value - addition in sectoral share of GDP and occupational structure.
